For many tribes, the drum, flute and voice were the primary instruments. For many non-Indian people, their knoweldge of Indian music is limited to what they hear at pow-wows or performances on special American Indian recognition days. But for Indian people, the music goes a lot deeper. Here are music selections - social and ceremonial songs and dances that we have found to be authentic and spiritually correct.
